West Papua Police arrest three arsons of district office and school in Kramomongga, Fakfak regency, West Papua, (1/9/2023). The schools and the district office were burned on August 15th, 2023.
The West Papua Police spokesman, Adam Erwindi says the three suspects have their own roles when committing the criminal action. Official says the head of Kramomongga district, Darson Hegemur, died due to the arson.
“FK commits the arson of district office, murder the district head, and burns the district stage field and Kokas 4 Junior High School. VPK was the one who burns the district stage field, while TH burns the district office and help murder the district head,” says Adam.
The investigation process is still not done yet as there are still more suspects in the wanted list.
“There are 21 suspects who are in the wanted list. Soon we will release the details of these suspects,” he said. As the investigation is still very much on going, he says there are possibility that there will be new names
“We will release the wanted list, and we implore the suspects the hand themselves over. For the people who have the information regarding the suspects, please report to the nearest police station or call 110,” says Adam.
Adam says that the Head of West Papua, Daniel Tahi Monang Silitonga is very concerned and paid his full attention to this case.
