Head of Reporting Department of Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) Ali Fikri says that the inactive Papuan Governor Lukas Enembe is in good conditions while in detention.
Ali says that the suspect of bribery and gratification can eat and take a bath as usual in the prison.
“From the information that we have received, LE is in good condition, stable, and can do things by himself like eating, take a bath, and others in KPK prison,” says Ali in his official statement, Sunday (1/15).
Ali explains that KPK prison doctors continuously monitor Lukas Enembe conditions, even the medicine are also been monitored and given according to the procedure.
“We gave him the same treatment as the others,” he said. Ali continued that KPK is ensuring all rights of the prisoners to be fulfilled and treated equally.
Previously, Lukas Enembe Lawyer, Petrus Bala, took an issue with Gatot Soebroto Hospital who gave Lukas Enembe rice as his food. This is because he already explained that LE only ate sweet potato, cassava and taro which Petrus said that those three are the most common food that LE eats.
Lukas Enembe’s private doctor, Anton Mete, also protested Gatot Soebroto Hospital who gave rice to LE.
When he knows that LE was given rice, Anton said that he feels anxious with the health conditions of Lukas Enembe.
“I just asked about foods, and says that the hospital did not serve sweet potato and cassava, only rice. Which makes no carbo for today,” says Anton.
Now, Enembe is not treated anymore at Gatot Soebroto Hospital, he now resides in KPK Prison of Kodam Military Police of Jaya Guntur.
