The Working Group (Pokja) III of the Task Force (Satgas) for the New Autonomous Regions (DOB) of Papua identify and verify documents of Wamena in preparation for the inauguration of the Papua Mountains Province. The activity took place at the Aithousa Building, Wamena, Jayawijaya, Tuesday (6/9/2022). This agenda is a continuation of their work in preparing the New Autonomous Region Papua.
The Head of Group III who is also the Director of Facilitation of Regional Balance Funds and Loans (FDPPD), Sumule Tumbo, said that his party will continue to push the Regional Government in Papua Mountains Region to be more solid in preparing the new province.
At the same occassion, he also led the identification and verification of grant assets from district governments throughout Papua mountains region. He also continues to motivate relevant parties to fully support the effort and jointly committed in making the Papua Mountains official a success.
“This solidarity will be the history for our grandchildren in the future. Therefore we hope that all regents and officials to be more solid in realizing our goal,” explained Sumule.
It was reported that Papua Province and all regencies in Papua Mountains regions aggreed to gave funds for the Papua Mountains Province. The agreement was contained in the minutes of the event which were signed symbolically together.
Meanwhile, after carrying out identification and verification, Group III reviewed several places for the administration office of the Papua Mountains Province. On that occasion, the team, together with the Regents/Deputy Regents, Regional Secretaries (Sekda), Regional Apparatus Organizations (OPD) and the Regional Leadership Coordination Forum (Forkopimda) installed a signpost for the Papua Mountains Governor’s Office.
Furthermore, Group III also visited the Jayawijaya District Education and Training Center office. The plan is that the office will become an alternative place to the temporary government office. In addition, Group III also reviewed places for the governor’s official residence and Regional Secretary of Papua Mountains Province.
