The Cartenz Peace Ops Task Force came back to Okmakot Village with their Si Ipar program, the program which aims to educate the next golden generation of Papua, (8/5).
The Cartenz Peace Ops of the Bintang Mountains region, which was led by Iptu Jufri Rambu, continues to intensify the Si Ipar Program in Okmakot Village.
Prior to the activity, Iptu Jufri and his personnel met with the parents of the children and explained to them that they will return to the village and will continue to educate the children of Okmakot.
“At first, we explained to the parents of the children that we, from the Noken Community Development Task Force, will continue to teach the kids at Okmakot Village, just like usual, and we also asked for their support in this program,” said Iptu Jufri.
While teaching the kids of Okmakot Village, the personnel teach and sings the national anthem and Sunday school songs with the kids before beginning the study.
“We invited them to sing the national anthem and Sunday school songs to enlighten the mood and boost their motivation in studying,” said Noken Community Development Task Force.
During that learning sessions, Iptu Jufri Rambu and his personnel taught the kids how to read and write.
“In this activity, we taught them how to write a sentence properly, and as usual we also share some snacks with them, so they would feel relaxed in studying with us. Hopefully, they would always remember what we have taught them,” said Iptu Jufri.
The Cartenz Peace Ops Head of Public Relations, Commissioner Ahmad Mustofa Kamal, stated that the Si Ipar Program will continue to be intensified with the aim of educating the kids who are not able to go to school and encouraging them to chase and reach their dreams.
“The Pi Ajar program continues to be intensified so that we make could encourage them who don’t want to go to school, to go to school,” explained Commissioner Ahmad Mustofa.
