The act of terrorism of the Armed Criminal Group in Papua has happened again. This time, they brutally attacked 12 innocent people, and one of them is a Priest, Eliaser Baye.
The Head of Public Relations of Cartenz Peace Ops 2022, Police Commissioner Ahmad Musthofa Kamal, confirmed that there was a shootings and the death of Priest Eliaser Baye.
“The attack occurred on Saturday, July 16th at around 09.15 WIT in Nogolait Village, Nduga Regent. The shootings caused 10 people died, which one of them is a priest, and two other are in critical condition,” said Commissioner Ahmad Musthofa Kamal.
The Police Commmissioner conveyed his condolences for the inhumane terrorism acts of the Armed Criminal Group.
“It was so brutal, inhuman. How could a priest that we should have respected also became one of the victims of the massacre done by the Armed Criminal Group,” said Commissioner Ahmad furiously.
Furthermore, he conveys that the victims have been evacuated to Mimika Regent, while the body of Eliaser Baye was returned to his family in Kenyam.
“Eliaser Baye has been handed over to his family in Kenyam, Nduga Regency, for burial,” concluded the Head of the Public Relations Task Force.
