Maintaining public order is a mandatory duty of the police. However this responsibility does not reside only to the police or the national armed forces, this responsibility needs a full support from the community in the region.
Therefore, the Noken Community Development of Cartenz Peace Ops in Intan Jaya, led by Ipda Arisandi Tancoma, along with Ipda Engel Mayor and personnel, actively sought support from various parties, including the leaders and tribal chiefs of Papua.
On this occasion, Ipda Aris and the personnel held a social security gathering in Bilogai Intan Jaya Village to meet with the leader and tribal chief of Bilogai, Stevanus Belau.
“This visit of Noken Community Development personnel is a positive step to establish a great cooperation with all elements of the community. This step aim to create and maintain public safety and security situation in the region,” said Ipda Aris when meeting Stevanus on Tuesday (12/07/22) Morning.
Ipda Aris continued, “We already know that one of the main tasks and roles of the Police is to protect and serve the community. But, we also need the help of the community in maintaining conduciveness in the surrounding environment.”
“Therefore, Sir Stevanus, please convey our security message, so we can jointly maintain the public safety and security, while also support the government in developing Intan Jaya district,” told the Police Officer with the rank of Ipda to the Bilogai Tribe Chief.
Other than that, the Community Development Task Force also giving provisions, which is corn plant seeds to the Tribal Chief. It is hoped that the aids would later become a source of food and income for Stevanus.
Selain itu, di kesempatan tersebut Satgas Binmas tak hanya memberikan Pesan Kamtibmas, namun juga memberikan bantuan bibit tanaman Jagung untuk di tanam dengan harapan nantinya jadi sumber pangan dan juga pendapatan bagi bapak Stevanus.
