As the Elections looms, General Elections Commission (KPU) of West Papua opens the submission of requirement documents of minimum supporter for the candidates of regional representative council (DPD) members in the 2024 general election, at the KPU Manokwari Hall, Sunday (01/08/2023).
Head of West Papua KPU, Paskalis Semunya, says that on January 8th the submission would be closed for the names of DPD candidates.
“Semunya said that from 17 candidates who have registered in Candidacy Information System (SILON) of DPD Ri, nine have completed the requirements,” he said to reporters, after receiving the candidates who have completed SILON requirements at Manokwari KPU, Sunday (1/8).
“The requirements includes a minimum supports that is spread across four Regencies with as many as 1,000 voters,” said Paskalis Semunya.
The candidates who have returned the documents are”

4.Adolof Fonataba.
5.Yance Samonsabra.
