Recently, famous Indonesian football player from Papua. Boaz Solossa have completed his master’s degree at Cendrawasih University, Jayapura. The legendary football player uploaded his graduation moment on his Instagram account, along with his words of gratitude.
“Become a student of master’s program amidst 2020. Thank God (graduation emoji) at the end of 2022. All of it thanks to the God,” says Boaz through Instagram account @boazsolossa on last December 2022.
“Thank you for all of your endless support, from family, friends, and all of my supporters who supports and love me. Boaz Theofilus Erwin Solossa, S.IP, M.Si and Mama Maria Sarobi must be proud because I kept moving forward, not just in non-academic but also in academic field,” continued Boaz in his appreciation post.
Previously, the man who was born in Sorong, have completed his bachelor degree in 2013 at Economic and Business Faculty of Cenderawasih University. Later in 2020, he continued his study in master’s program of Regional Finance at the same university and able to graduate at the end of 2022.
For the record, few football players in Indonesia have completed their bachelor degree, let alone master degree. For them, this is not an easy accomplishment, because they have to properly managed their tight schedule. Boaz Solossa is the few ones who are able to overcome this challanges.
Boaz himself is well known to be one of the finest strikers in Indonesian National Football Team. He had an amazing career in football pitch. He had scored hundreds of goals and among the top scorers in Indonesian League of 2008-2009, 2010-2011, and 2013.
Now, he currently still plays in Persipura Jayapura. However, he previously had played in several Indonesian big clubs, such as Perseru Serui, Borneo FC, Carsae FC, to PSS Sleman. He was also included in Indonesian Footbal Team in AFF 2004 and acknowledged as the best striker in the squad.
