The New Autonomous Region of Papua Mountains Province could boost the welfare of the locals. The government always continues their effort in developing the New Autonomous Region for the sake of community’s welfare.
This statement came from the Deputy Minister of Home Affairs, Wempi Wetipo, invites all elements of society, including the figures of Papua Mountains to welcome this New Autonomous Region policy.
“I thought we have to welcome this. We have to become an active player (in developing Papua Mountains) so that we could get a huge benefit from it,” said Wempi in front media crews after visiting Wamena Mall, Wednesday (7/27) night.
According to Wempi, the New Autonomous Region is the golden opportunity for the new generations of Papua Mountains to be able to live a better life than before. Therefore, his party will continue to invite all elements of society in Papua Mountains to support the development of the region.
He adds that he has high hopes for this New Autonomous Region of Papua Mountains, especially regarding the improvement of people’s welfare and prosperity. He is optimistic, that as time goes, people in the region would feel the benefits of the New Autonomous Region policy in forming the Papua Mountains Province.
Therefore, Wempi stressed that all parties should join together in developing the Papua Mountains Province. “I invites all state apparatus, including Armed National Forces, the National Police, State Civil Apparatus, to jointly put our hardest effort in bringing changes and prosperity as the people hoped,” he concluded.
