papuachronicle.co – Tolikara. To help the community in meeting their basic food needs, the Tolikara Sub-regional Police conducted an Affordable Food Movement (GPM) in Muara Giling Batu Village, Karubaga District, Tolikara Regency, Papua, on Saturday (November 1, 2025).

The activity was held in Muara Giling Batu Village using a car and three motorcycles.

The activity proceeded orderly and with high enthusiasm from the community. Upon arrival, officers immediately set up a sales area for the SPHP rice. 

A total of 100 sacks, equivalent to 500 kilograms of SPHP rice, were sold to the 100 residents present.

Second Police Inspector Kasrim stated that this activity demonstrates the Indonesian National Police’s concern for the welfare of the community, particularly in maintaining stable food prices in the Tolikara region.

“The GPM is expected to help the community to buy food at affordable prices while strengthening the relationship between the police and the community,” said Kasrim.

During the event, the situation at the location was observed to be safe and conducive. People were seen enthusiastic and appreciative of the program held by the police.
