papuachronicle.co – Sentani. The success of the Jayapura Sub-regional City Police Criminal Investigation Unit in uncovering a violent theft case that killed an online motorcycle taxi driver on the Sentani-Waena Highway has received widespread appreciation from various groups. 

One such example came from the Jayapura Regency Online Driver Community, which considered the authorities’ swift action a tangible proof of the police’s commitment to providing a sense of security for the public, especially online transportation drivers.

In his official statement, the representative of the online driver community, Ardhi Samier, expressed his appreciation and gratitude to the Jayapura Sub-regional Police Chief, Superintendent Umar Nasatekay, and his staff, especially the Head of the Criminal Investigation Unit, Police Senior Inspector Alamsyah Ali, who had worked hard to uncover the sadistic robbery case in a short time.

“We are very grateful to the Police for their swift and professional actions. The arrest of the perpetrators is a tangible manifestation of their commitment in protecting the public, especially us online drivers who work on the roads every day,” said Ardhi Samier.

The online driver community also expressed its readiness to work with the police to maintain security and order in Jayapura Regency. They believe that successfully solving this case will not only bring justice to the victim’s family but also foster a sense of calm and trust among online transportation drivers.

“We are ready to cooperate with the police, provide information if we see anything suspicious, and help create a safe environment on the roads,” added the community representative.
