papuachronicle.co – Oskop. The Damai Cartenz Operation Task Force denies the accusations of security forces of using Ephesus GIDI Church in the Oskop District as a military post and war logistics warehouse.
The task force claims those are false and baseless, which only attempts to provoke the people of Papua.
Head of the Damai Cartenz Operation Public Relations Task Force, Senior Superintendent Yusuf Sutejo, explained that the situation in the Oskop District is safe and the local community is doing their daily activities as usual.
“The information that the Ephesus GIDI Church in Oksop is being used as a military headquarters is false and we appeal to the Papuan people to not to easily swayed by these provocative news that are deliberately spread by certain groups to invoke chaos,” said Yusuf Sutejo on Monday (1/20).
He added that the security forces always work in accordance with applicable legal regulations and human rights. The operation carried out in the Papua region aims to maintain security stability and protect the community from all threats.
The Damai Cartenz Operation Task Force continues to be committed to creating safe and peaceful conditions in Papua. The operation aims to restore security stability and ensure that people can live their lives peacefully.
