The Ministry of Home Affairs welcomed the returning Minister of Home Affairs Muhammad Tito Karnavian and the newly appointed Deputy Ministers of Home Affairs Wamendagri Ribka Haluk to the ranks. The two were inaugurated by President Prabowo Subianto as ministers and deputy ministers in the Red and White Cabinet.

Muhammad Tito Karnavian previously has been serving as the Minister of Home Affairs during the administration of President Joko Widodo for the 2019-2024 period. Then, during the administration of President Prabowo, Tito was again trusted to continue his duty as the Minister of Home Affairs for the 2024-2029 term.

This welcoming event was attended directly by high-ranking and middle-ranking officials of the Ministry of Home Affairs. The welcoming event took place at the Sasana Bhakti Praja (SBP) Building, Ministry of Home Affairs Head Office, Jakarta, on Tuesday (10/22/2024).

In his remarks, the Minister Tito has been knowing Ribka for a long time. He said that President Prabowo had indeed requested that one of the Deputy Ministers of Home Affairs to be filled by a woman figure from Papua. According to him, Ribka Haluk has amazing track records and experience after leading a number of regions in Papua as she was the first Acting (Pj.) Governor of Central Papua.

With these various achievements, the Minister of Home Affairs feels grateful to be supported by Ribka as one of the Deputy Ministers of Home Affairs.

In his remarks, Minister Tito appealed to the ranks of the Ministry of Home Affairs to give their full support to assist the tasks of the two Deputy Ministers of Home Affairs.
